“”The staff could not be faulted so helpful and friendly, breakfast was excellent and they even have a small terrace for those indulgent cream teas right in the centre with loads of shops nearby”

If you want a quality B&B run by two lovely people who do everything they can to make your stay a pleasure then look now further. Gary and Penny are your new found best friends full of information about Southend, I am something of a breakfast “critic” and I could not fault the breakfast experience here

“There was a fabulous view of the estuary, overlooking Southend pier a few hundred yards away. The room was spotless, and all the things that you only sometimes get in an overnight stay were all there. Shampoo, shower gel, lots and lots of tea, sugar, coffee, milk pots and packets of biscuits, as well as nice touches such as scatter cushions on the bed. Very good hot shower. It was a little palace.

“From the moment we arrived we knew it was the best choice, we were welcomed and checked in with no fuss. The breakfast was full and hearty with a choice to suit many needs. Check out was easy and swift, an all round pleasant stay. Thanks everyone.”

“Arrived early but we were made very welcome and were able to leave our suitcase in our room before setting off to explore Southend in glorious sunshine. In the evening we were able to open wide the window of our second floor front room and enjoy the wonderful view across the estuary”
